Quite a bit, as proven by members of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/FIUIBHS\" target=\"_blank\">International Business Honor Society<\/a> (IBHS), a student organization in the College of Business Administration at Florida International University (FIU).<\/p>\n<p>Recently, ten students spent the morning at Columbus Networks, a telecommunications services provider of broadband and IP services to telecom carriers, television cable companies, internet service providers and network integrators.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_10372\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-10372\" style=\"width: 473px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/biznews.fiu.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/tn_IMG_9718.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-10372\" title=\"tn_IMG_9718\" src=\"https:\/\/biznews.fiu.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/tn_IMG_9718.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"473\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-10372\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Students from the International Business Honor Society gained insights into high speed broadband fiber optic networks from Paul Scott, president and COO, Columbus Networks<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cThis was part of IBHS\u2019s corporate visit series, offering members a glimpse at businesses affecting Miami-Dade and Broward counties,\u201d said IBHS vice-president <strong>Victoria Palma<\/strong>, also the HR coordinator at Columbus Networks. Palma planned the visit for the group.<\/p>\n<p>The team at Columbus Networks gave the students an in-depth look at many facets of their business and strategy. Talking and networking with the students were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Paul Scott, president and chief      operating officer<\/li>\n<li>Silvia Piedra, HR manager<\/li>\n<li>Vicky Rubio, service      implementation manager<\/li>\n<li>Javier Alonso, IP engineer<\/li>\n<li>Juan C. Pena, controller<\/li>\n<li>Javier Pereira, director of      product development<\/li>\n<li>Mary Beltran, director of      international legal affairs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cInteracting with different executives enabled us to learn specifics about many aspects of the business,\u201d said IBHS member <strong>Silvia Morales<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Graduating senior <strong>Jhon F.
