Alumni, administrators and current graduate students in the College of Business Administration at Florida International University (FIU) were invited to share in the evening dubbed \u201cWinter Pantherland.\u201d It took place in the Special Events Room in the College of Business Complex.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe food was outstanding, the music was just right and, best of all, it was easy to network and get to know people,\u201d <strong>Ronald Lherisson<\/strong> (DTMBA \u201910) said. \u201cThe evening was done perfectly.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_10904\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-10904\" style=\"width: 450px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-10904 size-full\" title=\"Chapman Holiday Party\" src=\"https:\/\/biznews.fiu.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/tn_ChapmanHolidayParty.jpg\" alt=\"Among many of the enjoyable aspects of the Chapman Alumni Holiday Party was the chance to pose with Roary.\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-10904\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Among many of the enjoyable aspects of the Chapman Alumni Holiday Party was the chance to pose with Roary.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>FIU\u2019s colors of blue and gold lent themselves quite well to festive decorations. Music from a string quartet also helped set the holiday mood.<\/p>\n<p>After Executive Dean <strong>Joyce J. Elam<\/strong> gave a hearty welcome to the crowd, there was no real structure to the evening; rather, guests socialized and enjoyed a variety of culinary delights.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt food stations around the room, we incorporated FIU\u2019s \u2018Worlds Ahead<em>\u2019<\/em> theme by featuring international cuisine, including Thai, Spanish and Caribbean food,\u201d said <strong>Maria Sierra<\/strong>, senior program manager for the Executive &amp; Professional MBA programs.
