When an educational event sells out three weeks in advance, it\u2019s obvious the subject matter has strong appeal.<\/p>\n
The \u201cMarketing Innovation: Back on the Offensive! What\u2019s Your Playbook?\u201d forum played to a packed house in March at Miami\u2019s Epic Hotel. Ninety attendees heard expert panelists give specific ideas about how to build a business and grow market share in today\u2019s emerging economy.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe presenters shared proven techniques to reach and engage the new consumer,\u201d said Jose Antonio Hernandez-Solaun<\/strong> (BBA \u201998), who planned the event along with fellow Miami businessperson Jacques Hart. \u201cAttendees took notes and asked questions as they soaked up what the panelists shared. It was very worthwhile.\u201d<\/p>\n Hernandez-Solaun, president of the Hernandez-Solaun Foundation, and Hart, CEO of Roar Media, are members of the South Florida chapter of the MIT Enterprise Forum, part of the MIT Alumni Association. The organization produces educational programs about entrepreneurship through a network of 28 worldwide chapters.<\/p>\n<\/a>
