The list will be published in the April 2009 issue of Entrepreneur, the nation\u2019s leading publication for and about entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-1336\" title=\"prwebsite\" src=\"https:\/\/biznews.fiu.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/04\/prwebsite.jpg\" alt=\"prwebsite\" width=\"348\" height=\"276\" \/>Operations management deals with the production and distribution of goods and services. Operations managers oversee the management of resources, the efficiency of business operations, and the quality of products and services.<\/p>\n<p>The Princeton Review used data from its national survey of 19,000 MBA students attending 296 business schools profiled in its book, Best 296 Business Schools: 2009 Edition. The 80-question survey asked students to report on classroom and campus experiences at their schools and rate their MBA programs in several areas. The Princeton Review tallied the \u201cStudent Opinion Honors\u201d lists based on students\u2019 assessments of how well they felt their business school courses had prepared them to succeed in each of the six areas.\u00a0 FIU is one of the 15 schools selected in the operations category.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe salute the business schools on these lists for the outstanding job they are doing both academically and professionally in preparing their students to apply their MBA training beyond the classroom to successful job searches and productive careers, said Robert Franek, vice president-publisher, The Princeton Review. \u201cWe know this will be particularly meaningful to applicants and MBA grads in these challenging economic times.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to Amy Cooper, Entrepreneur\u2019s vice president\/editor in chief, \u201cEntrepreneurs have to become experts in virtually every area of business management, As a result, many may find business schools to be the right fit for their needs as a holistic means of learning how to build their companies.
