The two-page interview discussed his journey to the top of leading Miami CPA  firm Morrison, Brown, Argiz &amp; Farra, LLP. The firm received the Greater  Miami Chamber of Commerce\u2019s \u201c2008 South Florida Good to Great Award\u201d for the  category of 51-249 employees. Argiz serves on the College of Business  Administration\u2019s Dean\u2019s Council and the School of Accounting Advisory Board, and  is an inductee into the college\u2019s Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"copy2\"><strong>Rene M. Cibran<\/strong> (BBA \u201980) is a financial  consultant and business advisor as well as a licensed insurance agent and  registered representative for MassMutual. Cibran also is the executive director  for TimePlus Payroll, which provides payroll management services to businesses  throughout South Florida.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"copy2\"><strong>Albert Oses<\/strong> (BBA \u201988), regional sales manager  for Ozburn-Hessey Logistics (OH Logistics), has been elected president of the  Florida Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association, Inc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"copy2\"><strong><\/strong><em>Miami Today<\/em> mentioned <strong>Nicholas  Bustle<\/strong> (MIB \u201988) in its \u201cBest of Miami\u201d issue for his contributions to  international banking. He is the city president of Miami-Dade County for  SunTrust Bank, and wealth and investment management line of business manager for  the bank\u2019s South Florida region. Bustle serves on the college\u2019s Dean\u2019s Council.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"copy2\"><strong>Jorge Gonzalez<\/strong> (BBA \u201988), regional president of  Miami-Dade and Monroe counties for Wachovia, was mentioned in the \u201cBest of  Miami\u201d issue of Miami Today for his efforts in creating leadership opportunities  in the community. Gonzalez is a member of the college\u2019s Dean\u2019s Council.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"copy2\"><strong>Maria Alonso<\/strong> (MBA \u201991), senior vice president,  marketing development manager, Miami-Dade\/Monroe at Bank of America, was  selected for the category of banking\/finance for the Greater Miami Chamber of  Commerce\u2019s \u201cA Salute to Miami Leaders\u201d award.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"copy2\"><strong><\/strong>Ocean Bank has promoted <strong>Elizabeth  Padr\u00f3n<\/strong> (MBA \u201997) to vice president in the commercial real estate  department.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"copy2\"><strong><\/strong>Avisena, whose chairman and CEO is  <strong>Albert Santalo<\/strong> (MBA \u201997), was a nominee for the \u201c2008 South  Florida Good to Great Awards\u201d in the 51-249 employee category. Santalo serves on  the college\u2019s Dean\u2019s Council and Executive MBA Advisory Board, and is an  inductee into the college\u2019s Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"copy2\"><strong><\/strong>After consulting with the United Nations  Development Programme investigation on North Korea, <strong>Michelle &#8220;Misty&#8221;  Jo-Arencivia<\/strong> (BBA \u201900) was selected for the executive training program  at The Venetian-Palazzo in Las Vegas, Nevada.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"copy2\"><strong>Manny D\u00edaz<\/strong> (BACC \u201902), City of Miami mayor, was  applauded in the \u201cBest of Miami\u201d issue of <em>Miami Today<\/em> for his many  efforts in the local community.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"copy2\"><strong><\/strong>Pacer Health Corp has appointed <strong>Tina M.  Vidal<\/strong> (MIB \u201904) chief operating officer for its non-medical segment.  She previously was vice president of business development and integration and  has been director of corporate relations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"copy2\"><strong>Basil M. Bernard<\/strong> (EMBA \u201905), president of  Apricot Office Supplies &amp; Furniture Inc.\/Office Furniture USA, received \u201cA  Salute to Miami\u2019s Leaders\u201d award in the \u201centrepreneurial\/ professional\u201d category  from the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce. Bernard serves on the college\u2019s  Executive MBA Advisory Board.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"copy2\"><strong>Cathy Pareto<\/strong> (MBA \u201906) and Associates has been  selected as one of the \u201cTop 10 Most Dependable Wealth Managers for Women in the  United States.\u201d The June 16, 2008, edition of <em>Forbes Magazine<\/em> published  the listing.
