The awards, which recognize selected individuals for the positive impact they make on their profession, the community and the university, honor the memory of Senator Ernest R. Graham, who helped create FIU.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_15958\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-15958\" style=\"width: 550px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/biznews.fiu.edu\/2012\/03\/alumni-notes-march-2012\/torch-awards\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-15958\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-15958\" title=\"Torch Awards\" src=\"https:\/\/biznews.fiu.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/Torch-Awards.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"412\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-15958\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Jack F. Gonzalez, president of the FIU Alumni Association; Joyce J. Elam, executive dean, College of Business Administration; Margaret Brisbane; and Mark B. Rosenberg, FIU president<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Berkowitz Dick Pollack and Brant named Diana L. Rodriguez (MS \u201999, BACC \u201994) associate director in tax services practice. Formerly a manager with the firm, she rejoined it after working in the tax departments of Ernst &amp; Young and PwC.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWomen Who Lead,\u201d a program offered by FIU\u2019s Women\u2019s Center, featured Monique Catoggio (EMBA \u201903) as a keynote speaker. She is director of advancement, alumni and corporate relations for FIU Business.<\/p>\n<p>Estefania Chuecos (BBA \u201907) was profiled in the <em>NSHMBA South Florida Chapter Newsletter<\/em>. She is a vice president financial advisor at Chase Investment Services.<\/p>\n<p>Compuquip Technologies has promoted Lin-Dai Quant (BBA \u201907) to service desk manager. She was previously the company\u2019s service desk supervisor.<\/p>\n<p>Apollo Bank has named Ana Alvarez Osteen (MBA \u201908) chief credit officer.
