Am\u00e9ricaEconom\u00eda<\/em>, the leading business magazine in Latin America, has released its 2009 ranking of business schools covering exceptional graduate programs globally and in Latin America. FIU’s Chapman Graduate School placed 20th<\/sup> on the global list<\/a> above MBA programs at institutions such as University of Chicago, Tulane, Georgetown, Emory, Michigan and University of Miami. Also, it ranked 14th<\/sup> in the United States. Am\u00e9ricaEconom\u00eda<\/em> has ranked Florida International University’s full-time International MBA program every year since 2004.<\/p>\n In addition to the listing, the article quotes Joyce J. Elam<\/strong>, executive dean of the College of Business Administration. In her comments, Elam emphasizes that the future will bring changes for business students, noting that an MBA won’t be sufficient. She points out that they will need a greater focus on matters such as leadership and corporate governance to enable them to understand their responsibility to all stakeholders.<\/p>\n
