Elam, professor and James L. Knight Eminent Scholar Chair in Management Information Systems, was featured in an article titled \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/business.fiu.edu\/pdf\/printMay2013\/women-on-the-move.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Women on the Move Joins FIU Leadership Brand<\/a>,\u201d published on May 23<sup>rd<\/sup> in <em>Miami Today<\/em>. The program has been offered for ten years as \u201cWomen on the Move\u201d and will now be known as \u201cThe Women Leaders Program.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Department of Management and International Business<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Modesto Maidique, professor and Alvah H. Chapman Jr. Eminent Scholar Chair, was quoted in the May 23<sup>rd<\/sup> <em>Miami Today<\/em> article titled \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/business.fiu.edu\/pdf\/printMay2013\/women-on-the-move.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Women on the Move Joins FIU Leadership Brand<\/a>,\u201d The program, rebranded as \u201cThe Women Leaders Program\u201d is offered through the Center for Leadership (CFL), of which Maidique is the executive director.<\/p>\n<p>Seema Pissaris, professor, was quoted in two articles in <em>The Miami Herald<\/em>: \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/business.fiu.edu\/pdf\/printMay2013\/inspiration-and-collaboration-propel-winning-eye-talk-team.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Inspiration and collaboration propel winning Eye Talk team<\/a>\u201d on May 6<sup>th<\/sup> and <a href=\"http:\/\/business.fiu.edu\/pdf\/printmay2013\/Young-entrepreneurs-redefining-work-world.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Young entrepreneurs redefining work world<\/a> on May 14<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>Two members of the department presented at the Greater Miami Society of Human Resource Management program on April 16<sup>th<\/sup>. Juan I. Sanchez, professor and Knight Ridder Byron Harless Eminent Scholar Chair in Management, was a panelist on the topic \u201cHR\u2019s Evolving Role in Corporate Climate Change.\u201d Marc Weinstein, clinical associate professor, gave a brief pre-panel presentation about the college\u2019s Master of Science in Human Resource Management (MSHRM) program.<\/p>\n<p><em>Department of Marketing<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Walfried Lassar, professor and Ryder Research Professor, served as a panelist on the topic \u201cMarketing and Money: Linking New Products, Services and ROI.\u201d Held May 16<sup>th<\/sup>, the panel was sponsored by South Florida Healthcare Executive Forum and hosted by Aventura Hospital and Medical Center.<\/p>\n<p><em>Tibor and Sheila Hollo School of Real Estate<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Suzanne Hollander, visiting instructor, participated in the 17th Annual Mercosur Professional Development in International Business (PDIB) program, organized by FIU\u2019s Center for International Business Education and Research (FIU-CIBER). The program took place May 12<sup>th<\/sup>-May 21<sup>st<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>Ken H.
