As a new graduate of Cornell University in 1983, Ruben King-Shaw Jr. (MHSA \u201885, MIB \u201987) had many options. The one he chose was Miami, because, as he saw it, \u201cthe lanes were open.\u201d<\/p>\n
This dynamic speaker — founder, managing partner and CIO of Mansa Capital, a healthcare private equity investment firm\u2013 was part of the Wertheim Lecture Series<\/a> at the College of Business at Florida International University (FIU).<\/p>\n During his presentation on September 18, 2013, King-Shaw told the audience of 150 that his next choice was FIU — for a master\u2019s degree in Health Services Administration and a Master of International Business at the Chapman Graduate School of Business \u2013 because he found FIU to be \u201cyoung, brash, daring and inventive.\u201d<\/p>\n
