A group of College of Business alumni from EY (Ernst & Young) has awarded a gift of $128,000 for scholarships for School of Accounting students at Florida International University (FIU).<\/p>\n
The new EY Scholars Program will provide support for undergraduate accounting students who intend to pursue a master\u2019s degree in accounting. The scholarship is available beginning in students\u2019 first year of undergraduate through their graduate studies.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are elated with the new EY Scholarship,\u201d said Ruth Ann McEwen, associate dean, College of Business and director, School of Accounting. \u201cOur graduates at EY are global leaders in their field, and we are humbled by the gratitude and confidence in our school that they have shown through their ongoing support to this institution.\u201d<\/p>\n
