The College of Business Administration congratulates eight faculty members on their recent promotions to the next rung of the academic ladder.<\/p>\n

The following were promoted from associate professor to full professor: Irma Becerra-Fernandez<\/strong>, Department of Decision Sciences and Information Systems, Knight Ridder Research Professor of Management Information Systems and director, Eugenio Pino and Family Global Entrepreneurship Center; Chun-Hao Chang<\/strong>, chair, Department of Finance and Real Estate, William Hardin<\/strong>, director, real estate programs, Department of Finance and Real Estate and Knight Ridder Center Research Professor; and Walfried Lassar<\/strong>, chair, Department of Marketing, Ryder Professor and director, Ryder Center for Supply Chain Management.<\/p>\n

Four faculty members were promoted from the rank of assistant professor to associate professor and received tenure: Kaushik Dutta<\/strong>, Department of Decision Sciences and Information Systems; Ken H. Johnson<\/strong> and Suchismita Mishra, <\/strong>Department of Finance and Real Estate; and William Newburry<\/strong>, Department of Management and International Business.<\/p>\n
