Aged 4 to 14, the children were excited and surprised to receive toys, homemade baked goods and a visit from both Roary and Santa Claus.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/biznews.fiu.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/abriendo-puertas-02.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-24729\" src=\"https:\/\/biznews.fiu.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/abriendo-puertas-02.jpg\" alt=\"abriendo-puertas-02\" width=\"550\" height=\"365\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Abriendo Puertas, which offers assistance in adult and community education, family support, and child and youth development, also received $1,000 in contributions from local businesses, REACC members and FIU supporters.
