FIU’s Real Estate Alumni Affinity Council (REAAC) delivered toys and gifts to 152 children of Abriendo Puertas, a Little Havana-based nonprofit social services agency. Aged 4 to 14, the children were excited and surprised to receive toys, homemade baked goods and a visit from both Roary and Santa Claus.

Abriendo Puertas, which offers assistance in adult and community education, family support, and child and youth development, also received $1,000 in contributions from local businesses, REACC members and FIU supporters. The funds helped the organization purchase additional toys for both Christmas as well as for Three Kings Day.
