The office of Career Services anticipates 1,500 students and alumni will attend the event.<\/p>\n<p>The lineup of employers that have signed up to showcase their internship and employment opportunities includes private industry; public, educational, and non-profit organizations; local government, federal government, law enforcement, and military.<\/p>\n<p>Among the companies that will be present are Burger King Corp., Central Intelligence Agency, Emphasys Software, Infinity Insurance, Johnson &amp; Johnson, New York Life, Teach For America, U.S. Coast Guard, and Yelp.\u00a0For a list of companies attending visit, <span class=\"s2\">2015 MMC Career Fair participants.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The FIU Career Fair aims to help students prepare for the transition into the working world and to provide employers with access to candidates with a broad range of degrees and experience levels.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On February 9, FIU will host 135 employers at the Spring 2015 Career Fair at the Modesto Maidique Campus, which will be held from 3 pm to 7 pm in the FIU Arena.
