Eleven students from the College of Business Administration participated in competitions at Phi Beta Lambda\u2019s (PBL) National Leadership Conference, \u201cGet the Edge,\u201d attended by more than 1,700 college students from across the country. Jose Betancourt<\/strong>, president of the Florida International University (FIU) chapter of PBL and Florida PBL state secretary took first place in public speaking, besting 70 competitors and netting a $750 award.<\/p>\n
