This summer, BizNews will present highlights of College of Business events held throughout the year.<\/em><\/p>\n Stephen Bittel, chairman and founder of Terranova Corporation, a South Florida real estate developer and innovator with over $1 billion in its commercial real estate portfolio, was the keynote panelist at Florida International University\u2019s Bi-Annual Jerome Bain Developer Luncheon, held on March 3, 2017 at Miami\u2019s Intercontinental Hotel.<\/p>\n Terranova\u2019s success is a testament to the work ethic and vision of Miami native Bittel, who started the company in 1980. Using his personal story as an example, Bittel shared how long hours, hard work and determination took him to big places. During his second year in law school, he started Terranova, now with more than one million square feet under management.<\/p>\n
