And 2018 marks the fourth time in a row and the fifth time in six years that the college has ranked within the Top 10 in international business. In 2017 the program ranked 5<sup>th<\/sup>, in 2016 it was 6<sup>th<\/sup>, in 2015 the program was 8<sup>th<\/sup>, and in 2013 it held the 10<sup>th <\/sup>spot.<\/p>\n<p><em>Leader in the development of global business leaders.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>FIU\u2019s International Business program features a multi-disciplinary curriculum in which students take courses in international business, regional studies, and functional areas. It integrates seminar-style classes, study abroad opportunities and professional development activities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor students, our faculty with extensive international business expertise and experience means they\u2019re going to get a better education,\u201d said Newburry. \u201cAlso, being in Miami is a big plus because it\u2019s inherently an international market. The locational advantage is a good fit with our faculty\u2019s capabilities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rankings for the best undergraduate business programs are based on a peer assessment survey last conducted in spring 2017.
