FIU Business has entered into an academic partnership with Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business to deliver a specialized International Business and Public Policy Program.

The five-day program is designed to provide executives and other professionals with the tools they need to navigate the influence and impact of U.S. governmental policies, programs and regulations on the private sector.

“As the U.S. implements dramatic changes in its trade, investment and financial policies, from a renegotiated NAFTA, to tariff increases and sanctions against a number of countries, and as foreign businesses and investors are subjected to more regulation, the relevance and timeliness of this new program are significant,” said Jerry Haar, executive director of executive and professional education at FIU Business.

Scheduled for September 9 – 13, the program begins at FIU Business in Miami, with courses on global business, innovation, leadership, strategy, supply chain management, and digital and social media. The Miami part of the program also includes a visit to Visa’s Innovation Center in Miami.
