The graduate and undergraduate entrepreneurship programs at FIU, which include programs at FIU Business<\/a>, have been ranked among the top 50 entrepreneurship programs in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Europe. The rankings, which will appear in the December issue of\u00a0Entrepreneur\u00a0<\/em>magazine, were developed through a partnership between the magazine and The Princeton Review. The FIU graduate program is ranked No. 38 and the undergraduate program is ranked No. 42.<\/p>\n \u201cWith two entrepreneurship centers, program offerings and other initiatives, FIU Business takes entrepreneurship very seriously,\u201d said William Hardin, interim dean of the college. \u201cWe are pleased to see FIU Business, as well as other colleges and schools across the university, recognized by\u00a0Entrepreneur\u00a0<\/em>and The Princeton Review.\u201d<\/p>\n The rankings are based not only on the university\u2019s entrepreneurship programming, but also its graduates\u2019 success rates in the business world, the number of mentors available for students and more.<\/p>\n FIU Business offers entrepreneurship classes at both the graduate and undergraduate level. Programs include a minor in entrepreneurship<\/a> for non-business majors and online program students, an entrepreneurship specialization in the Professional MBA Online<\/a> program and a Certificate in Entrepreneurship<\/a> program. For many years, FIU Business has partnered with the\u00a0Miami Herald<\/em>\u00a0to host a Startup Pitch competition and the college is home to the Eugenio Pino and Family Global Entrepreneurship Center<\/a>, as well as a Florida Small Business Development Center<\/a>.<\/p>\n The rankings are also based on entrepreneurship offerings, initiatives and other information from the Chaplin School of Hospitality and Tourism Management, the College of Engineering and Computing, StartUP FIU and the Honors College.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The graduate and undergraduate entrepreneurship programs at FIU, which include programs at FIU Business, have been ranked among the top 50 entrepreneurship programs in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Europe.
