Elam<\/strong>, called Faculty Linkage.<\/p>\n<table border=\"0\" cellspacing=\"5\" width=\"135\" align=\"right\" bgcolor=\"#f4f4f4\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<div><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/business.fiu.edu\/newsletters\/BusinessNetworks\/December2006\/images\/catoggio.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"122\" height=\"163\" \/><br \/>\n<span>Monique Catoggio <\/span><span>(EMBA \u201903)<\/span><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>\u201cBecause the Circle is a college-wide group and is not attached to a particular degree program, it is important that its members have the opportunity to engage more deeply with faculty and students in their areas of expertise and\/or interest,\u201d said Alumni and Partner Relations Director <strong>Monique Catoggio <\/strong>(EMBA\u201903). \u201cThrough this unique program, we\u2019ll be linking members with a faculty member in their desired academic area, and together, they will discuss ways they can benefit from each other\u2019s work or research.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Catoggio said she anticipated Circle members will serve as expert speakers in particular classes, mentor students, provide advice to student groups, foster connections between professors and students and their respective companies for class projects or research projects, and much more.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m really  looking forward to seeing what materializes from these connections,\u201d Elam said.<\/p>\n<p>The program will be launched in January, 2007.
