Elam <\/strong>welcomed alums back to the college and introduced attendees to the new building complex with guided tours. \u00a0Former Chapman School Dean\u00a0\u00a0<strong>Jos\u00e9 de la Torre<\/strong> gave updates about Chapman\u2019s graduate programs and introduced\u00a0<strong>Barry Shifflet<\/strong>, director of Career Management Services and\u00a0<strong>Robert Garcia<\/strong>, director of Executive and Professional Education. \u00a0 Both gave a brief introductions to the services their offices provide.\u00a0<strong>Monique Catoggio<\/strong>, director of alumni relations, introduced a friendly ice breaker game of Chapman bingo.<\/p>\n<div><span class=\"title\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"modImage alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/business.fiu.edu\/newsletters\/BusinessNetworks\/2008\/01\/images\/chapman02.jpg\" alt=\"Chapman Alumni Holiday Reception\" width=\"350\" height=\"260\" \/><\/span><\/div>\n<p>Chapman graduates enjoyed a live acoustical guitarist as they ate, drank, and won prizes provided by the FIU Alumni Association.<\/p>\n<p><strong>M<\/strong><strong>ichelle Joubert<\/strong>, assistant director of alumni relations, said, &#8220;We are excited to welcome Chapman graduates to view the new building complex.\u00a0 I believe they were as excited to see it as we were to present it.
