When 250 people gathered at this year\u2019s Cuban-American CPAs Association (CACPA) gala, it was like a Florida International University (FIU) reunion bringing, together current leaders with an eye toward future ones.<\/p>\n
\u201cI appreciate that the CACPA takes the time to honor community leaders,\u201d said Sharon Lassar<\/strong>, director, School of Accounting, in FIU\u2019s College of Business Administration. \u201cIt shows the accounting profession\u2019s commitment to the community as a whole. This year, it was particularly nice because of those honored.\u201d<\/p>\n
