It\u2019s an innovative idea that\u2019s part business, part social—and totally interesting. \u201cDinner with 12 Strangers,\u201d a brainchild of the Student Alumni Association at Florida International University (FIU), lets alumni and community partners host a dinner for a dozen FIU students to impart career and real-world insight.<\/p>\n
Carlos Oramas<\/strong> (BBA \u201993), a seasoned marketing professional and CEO of Gems Global Inc., recently hosted one. While the opportunity was open to all FIU students, many who attended the Oramas dinner were from the College of Business Administration.<\/p>\n
