A Review of Work-related Gender Commonalities,\u201d has been accepted for publication in the peer-reviewed <em>Gender in Management<\/em>: <em>An International Journal<\/em>. Co authors include <strong>G. Ronald Gilbert<\/strong>, clinical professor; <strong>Meredith Burnett<\/strong>, assistant professor; <strong>Jerry Haar<\/strong>, associate dean for international programs, professor and research fellow; and a colleague.<\/p>\n<p>A paper titled \u201cMulti-Level Reputation Signals in Service Industries in Latin America,\u201d by<strong> William Newburry<\/strong>, associate professor and Knight Ridder Research Professor, and doctoral student <strong>Abrahim Soleimani<\/strong>, won the \u201cBest Paper Award\u201d at the Academy of International Business Latin America Chapter Annual Meeting in Rio de Janeiro in June 2010. At the conference, doctoral student <strong>Armando Borda<\/strong> was one of four finalists for the \u201cBest Doctoral Student Dissertation Proposal Award\u201d and received one of 23 \u201cBest Reviewer Awards\u201d for the conference, out of a total of 1,220 reviewers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Department of Management and International Business The manuscript, \u201cDoes Gender Matter?
