The College of Business Administration congratulates eight faculty members on their recent promotions to the next rung of the academic ladder.
The following were promoted from associate professor to full professor: Irma Becerra-Fernandez, Department of Decision Sciences and Information Systems, Knight Ridder Research Professor of Management Information Systems and director, Eugenio Pino and Family Global Entrepreneurship Center; Chun-Hao Chang, chair, Department of Finance and Real Estate, William Hardin, director, real estate programs, Department of Finance and Real Estate and Knight Ridder Center Research Professor; and Walfried Lassar, chair, Department of Marketing, Ryder Professor and director, Ryder Center for Supply Chain Management.
Four faculty members were promoted from the rank of assistant professor to associate professor and received tenure: Kaushik Dutta, Department of Decision Sciences and Information Systems; Ken H. Johnson and Suchismita Mishra, Department of Finance and Real Estate; and William Newburry, Department of Management and International Business.
