The most recent rankings from U.S.News & World Report, titled “Best Business Schools 2011,” have been released, and the Chapman Graduate School of Business at Florida International University (FIU) captured 24th spot in the “Best Business Schools Specialty Rankings: International” category. The Chapman Graduate School offers a 12-month full-time International MBA as well as a three-semester Master of International Business.
“This is another proof point of our increasing prestige in international business,” said Luis Casas, director of marketing, communications and recruiting in the College of Business Administration. “We are particularly proud of the rating because it reflects the strategic importance that we place on preparing our students for success in the global economy.”
This latest ranking solidifies the college’s recognition as one of the country’s leading international business schools. In its 2010 rankings of undergraduate programs in international business, U.S.News & World Report placed FIU at #12. In the most recent AméricaEconomía listing of exceptional graduate programs globally and in Latin America, the Chapman Graduate School ranked 20th on their global list. In addition, the graduate school recently was rated among the top 15 business schools in operations and in global management surveyed in The Princeton Review’s second annual “Student Opinion Honors for Business Schools.” The lists, which reflect the evaluations of 19,000 MBA students, appear in the April 2010 issue of Entrepreneur magazine. The graduate school was also recently included in The Princeton Review’s The Best 301 Business Schools: 2011 Edition.
