Stefanie Anding (EMBA ’10) has been appointed director of business development in the Office of Advancement, Alumni and Corporate Relations in Florida International University’s (FIU) College of Business Administration.
In this position, her focus will be external relations in the community, for example by representing the business school in various professional organizations and identifying or facilitating sponsorships.
“When I meet people, they often ask about how their organization can become involved or support the college,” she said. “Part of my role is to facilitate those opportunities—which can benefit both the college and the groups that want to support us.”
As a committed member of the community, Anding has determined that she wants to be more deeply involved in the community and contribute to it, both personally and as the business school’s ambassador.
“As I help to raise awareness about FIU Business, I also want to listen to groups that need their voices heard and see how the college can help them,” she said.
Anding graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, with a double major in international political science and German literature, and received an Executive Master of Business Administration from FIU in 2010. She is one of the founders of the Chapman Executive Women’s Association (CEWA), an organization formed in 2010 for female graduates of the college’s Professional and Executive MBA programs.
