The College of Business Administration is pleased to announce the following new staff members.
Lynette A. Diaz (BS ’07) is the program coordinator for the Downtown MBA. She oversees logistics; plans, implements and monitor student services; and coordinates admissions, registration, billing and graduation activities. Her undergraduate degree is in communication and she is pursuing a Master of Arts degree in international administration and a graduate business certificate, both of which she expects to complete in 2012.
An international relations major, course developer Antonia L. Gordon designs the fully online courses for the Corporate MBA program in both Blackboard CE8 and Learn 9.
Alejandro Herrera (BS ’10) is an office assistant at the Biscayne Bay Campus. He provides phone and administrative support for the business school’s faculty, adjuncts and advising personnel and assists in the preparation of course materials and exams—including typing, duplicating and proctoring class examinations when necessary. He finds it rewarding aspect to help process students’ letter requests and other ancillary paperwork because it has an impact on the student’s overall success. His degree is in criminal justice.
Bloomberg certified Gabriel Madan is an intern in the State Farm Financial Literacy Lab. A finance major, he assists students in the lab and gives tours.
As an intern in the State Farm Financial Literacy Lab, Charles John Stack Jr.—a finance major with a concentration in banking—helps educate students on the fundamentals of Bloomberg, ThinkorSwim and Morning Star Office. A liaison to many financial professions, he is one of the authors of the “State Farm Financial Literacy Lab Weekly Market Wrap Up,” published on BizNews and covering monetary policy to inform students about important market trends.
Finance and international business major Erika Szekely, an intern in the State Farm Financial Literacy Lab, specializes in Bloomberg, BB Excel, and Morningstar office. As part of her role, she helps revise and facilitate the High School Financial Literacy Program.
