Monica Balda (BBA ’04) was recognized as an Emerging Professional within the field of supply chain and given a scholarship from Capital One. She received the award at the Institute for Supply Management’s annual conference.
John Baez (MS ’12) is senior business intelligence solutions consultant at BIGBI Solutions. Previously, he was business intelligence manager at Steiner Leisure Limited.
Governor Rick Scott awarded Lynne Gassant (MS ‘15) with the Volunteer Florida Champion of Service Award. Gassant is executive director of Scholar Career Coaching, a nonprofit organization that provides after school mentoring services to South Florida high school students, particularly those who speak English as a second language.
