The undergraduate international business program at Florida International University’s College of Business (FIU Business) is ranked No. 6 in the U.S. in the 2019 U.S. News Best Colleges rankings, released September 10, 2018. FIU Business moved up one spot from the previous year’s ranking and has now been ranked among the top 10 schools for international business for four consecutive years. The undergraduate business program is ranked No. 77 overall among public business school programs, a jump of 13 spots from the year before.
“We are delighted to be recognized among the nation’s best undergraduate business programs,” said FIU Business Dean Joanne Li. “We are especially proud to be ranked No. 6 in international business as we continue to strengthen our position as a global leader in international business education and research.”
FIU’s international business programs include an undergraduate major, an International MBA program, a Master of International Business program and a Master of Science in International Real Estate program. The college also has more than 60 academic partners in more than 30 countries around the world, providing numerous study abroad and other international learning opportunities for students.
FIU’s 20 full-time international business faculty members are recognized among the world’s top researchers in the field. The UT Dallas Top 100 Business School Research rankings place the faculty at No. 5 in the U.S. for the number of publications in the Journal of International Business Studies, the field’s leading journal, from 2015 to 2018. And FIU Business is home to two of the world’s 40 most prolific authors in international strategic management research according to a 2016 study published in Management International Review.
