Jerry Haar, professor, associate dean and director of FIU’s Pino Global Entrepreneurship Center, has been named to the editorial board of the University of New Mexico Press.

Marc Weinstein, clinical associate professor, became the College Relations representative for the Greater Miami Society for Human Resource Management, effective January 1, 2014.

Carlos Parra, clinical professor, was quoted in a December 24, 2013 Miami Herald article by Lance Dixon entitled “Building Bitcoin use in South Florida and beyond.” The article also appeared several other media outlets.

On December 18, 2013, Suzanne Hollander, visiting instructor, was named Mentor of the Year by the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) at their Annual Awards Ceremony held at the Four Seasons on Brickell.
