At the beginning of every semester, the College of Business’ “Welcome to the BizLife” fair gives new students the opportunity to learn more about career services, international studies, and over a dozen student organizations. This year’s event, held January 15, 2014 in the CBC Lobby, also featured Florida International University (FIU) mascot Roary, and plentiful pizza.

The event was also an opportunity for the college’s new vice dean, Jose Aldrich, to tour the student organization exhibits, meet student leaders, and learn more about the co-curricular activities at the heart of the college.

“It’s so exciting to see the energy and the commitment here today,” Aldrich said. “I’m delighted to have had the opportunity to meet these students, and see all that we at FIU Business can accomplish together.”
