Alfredo Ferrer (BBA ’81) has been hired as security director for Swire Properties, and will supervise Brickell City Centre operations. Ferrer was formerly a director of PortMiami Seaport Law Enforcement.
The Health Law Practice Group at Broad and Cassel has added Joseph C. Picone (BBA ’82) as their newest associate.
Eileen Martin (BBA ’91), previously manager of data management at Kaufman Rossin, has been promoted to director of data management at the firm.
Lynn M. Norman-Teck (BBA ’94) has been hired by Florida Charter School Alliance as executive director.
Travis Herring (BBA ’96) is now an executive director at Cushman & Wakefield’s Fort Lauderdale office.
The tax and accounting department of MBAF has promoted Marc Freeman (BAcc ’97) to principal. He was previously a director of the firm.
Daniel Chavez (MST ’01) has been promoted by Coconut Grove Bank to senior vice president and chief financial officer.
Sergio Tigera (BBA ’01, EMBA ‘15) has joined Florida International University’s College of Business as executive director of development. Tigera previously worked for Caterpillar Inc. for 14 years, most recently as the Latin America division’s sales support manager of mining.
Coconut Grove Bank named Deborah Morrison (MST ’02) director of estate and trust services. Morrison was previously associate principal of estate and trust services.
NAI Miami has hired Victor Pastor (MBA ’12) as director. Pastor specializes in retail and international business investment sales.
