Happy December to all! The College of Business’ celebrations kicked off in November with Thanksgiving and the “Inspire a Child to Read” holiday book drive. Now it’s time for cheers to the Class of 2016 as they get ready for the graduation and the holiday celebrations begin.

4th Annual Inspire a Child to Read Book Drive

FIU College of Business 4th Annual Inspire a Child to Read Book Drive at Centro Mater in Downtown Miami. The 800 books were donated to children enrolled in Centro Mater who heard stories, drank lemonade and chose a book of their own.

FIU Thanks Day

Students, faculty and staff wrote messages on a giant card, signed individual cards to be given to donors, snapped photos at the photo booth to use on social media, filmed short thank you videos and received t-shirts at the FIU College of Business Thanks Day in the CBC complex.

Miami River Real Estate Urban Property Development Tour.

FIU College of Business Masters of Science in International Real Estate (MSIRE) Bayside Boat Tour gave guests the opportunity to tour the Miami River and hear from experts in the industry. The boat tour, lasting two hours, gave guests an up-close look at various projects and the chance to network with developers, lenders and officials.

MBA Panel Discussion

FIU College of Business Veteran Masters in Business Administration (MBA) Panel discussion allowed guests to hear from alumni and veterans on their experience in various MBA programs as veterans. The discussion, held in FIU’s Brickell campus, allowed guests the opportunity to network with current and prospective students.

International Name Writing Fair

FIU College of Business International Name Writing Fair gave students, faculty and staff the opportunity to learn how to write their names in other languages.
