All awards are welcome, but recognition by oneās peers, and for professors, recognition by oneās students, is particularly meaningful. Each year, the dedication of members of the faculty of the College of Business Administration at Florida International University (FIU) gets special attention at the Faculty Awards Luncheon. Held this year on October 20th, the luncheon enabled the 55 attendees to learn whom undergraduate and graduate students—as well as those from student organizations—chose as winners of the highly competitive and coveted awards.
Gloria Deckard, associate dean of the Landon Undergraduate School of Business presented the 2010-2011 Undergraduate Teaching Awards, chosen by students.
